Meditation, including simple
breathing techniques and meditative exercises, can help quiet
our minds and bring a fuller awareness to our lives.
It can help us to live in the present, as opposed to obsessing
about the past, or worrying about the future.
Deep breathing is powerful medicine, and is available to
us at any time. Qi Gong is a series of gentle movements
developed in ancient China and refined over the millennia. Even
if only practiced a few minutes a day, my patients find that the
breathing and Qi Gong exercises I recommend help them maintain
and enhance their equilibrium.
